What is included in this job sheet template?
The printable sheet has spaces for your business details, job reference, customer and site, date, requested work, completed work, materials, time, observations, follow-up and customer acknowledgement. It is a work record, not an invoice or statutory certificate.
How to fill it in
Start with the customer and the exact site address. Give the job a reference that your business can find again. Write the requested work first, then describe what was actually completed in the separate section. Keep quantities and measurements to things you recorded, and note any work left outstanding.
Add evidence rather than vague reassurance
A useful completion note explains what changed. “Replaced the damaged hinge on the kitchen cabinet” is more informative than “all sorted”. When photos help, use the free online generator to attach them directly to a PDF. Do not claim that a photograph proves a hidden fault was resolved or that work meets a standard.
Use the acknowledgement section carefully
Let the customer read the report before signing. The signature records acknowledgement of the report, not a safety inspection or waiver of rights. If no one is available, leave the signature section blank rather than entering a name on their behalf.
